Proud Team Update

We are thrilled to announce that Rohan Wadhwa has been promoted to Principal.

As a founding team member of Lumos Capital Group, Rohan's deep sector insights, analytical rigor and ability to develop deep relationships with entrepreneurs and founders are foundational to our work investing in the leading growth companies in the education and human capital development sector.

When we first met Rohan prior to establishing Lumos, we knew immediately that he would bring a truly distinct background as an education-focused investor. As a former education entrepreneur himself, Rohan has deep empathy for the founder's journey. He knows the challenges of building a compelling product, finding distribution and getting to scale, as well as the critical importance of achieving strong outcomes. Later, as a founding team member of a leading education practice at Oliver Wyman, the global consultancy, Rohan diligenced and led strategic evaluations of many of the most successful edtech firms across pre-K-12 and higher education. This has led to a tremendous network in the sector as well as a deep understanding of what drives scale and impact in our field.

Rohan combines his global, macro-level knowledge of industry trends with a first principles approach and a Kaizen, continuous improvement mindset that challenges all of us to get better every day. And his deep commitment to leveling the playing field for all through education inspires each of us to work harder at our mission (and is also reflected in his nonprofit work with KIPP and other organizations).
